A PVC of higher quality than woodworking. Expanded cellular PVC is covered with a coextruded rigid surface.

Finish & Maintenance

This line is designed for simple maintenance, with no special finishing, planning, painting or other preparation. Maintenance is limited to a sponge with soapy water or a special PVC cleaner.

Superior thermal insulation than wood.

These products cannot rot, crack, warp or peel; they also resist water and insects.

All of these products can be sawn, drilled, glued and fastened the same way as traditional wood joinery. In addition, many of these products can be set using specific pieces and cover fasteners.

An almost infinite choice of colors to match your home, your environment, or simply the colors you want!

Appearance and Finish

The profile will show no impurity, cracking or sink mark. Subject to normal wear, cellular PVC profiles from TECNIPLAST will keep their optical and mechanical properties.

Durability – Color Fastness

The color is an integral part of the profile and will not crack or fade away.

Chemical resistance

TECNIPLAST's cellular PVC profiles resist to most acids and alkalis, but they may degrade if attacked by solvents.

Fire resistance

TECNIPLAST's cellular profiles are not flammable and comply with the UL-VO-94 Standard

TECNIPLAST's cellular PVC profiles can be cleaned with household detergents and soaps. Never use solvent-based cleaning solutions. Cellular PVC being a surfaced material, it doesn't need to be painted. Dark paint could cause premature embrittlement of rigid PVC and is therefore not recommended. More particularly, the application of a dark color coating may cause deformation due to a heat build-up in the profile.

Cellular PVC wastes should be removed from waste sites because the product will not decompose and should not be burnt on site. It should be sent to an approved incineration site or must be disposed of in a designated landfill, or be recycled.

Cellular PVC profiles must always be cut and not broken. When power tools are used, wear a protective mask against large grit dust, goggles and light industrial gloves.
