TAKING CARE OF OUR PRODUCTS

Maintenance

TECNIPLAST's cellular PVC profiles can be cleaned with household detergents and soaps. Never use solvent-based cleaning solutions. Cellular PVC being a surfaced material, it doesn't need to be painted. Dark paint could cause premature embrittlement of rigid PVC and is therefore not recommended. More particularly, the application of a dark color coating may cause deformation due to a heat build-up in the profile.

Environment

Cellular PVC wastes should be removed from waste sites because the product will not decompose and should not be burnt on site. It should be sent to an approved incineration site or must be disposed of in a designated landfill, or be recycled.

Security

Cellular PVC profiles must always be cut and not broken. When power tools are used, wear a protective mask against large grit dust, goggles and light industrial gloves.
